a lot of people don't, but I love it. I mean, the acting\scripts are basically identical to the stuff in Star Wars, especially the OT. They're both cheesy, but I find I like Captain Kirk way better than Captain Solo *William Shatner in his younger days was pretty good looking. :D* and Bones is my favorite character; the way he and Spock carry on....hehe.

Anyways, back to SW. I think the originals were like the LOTR trilogy. It was a very big risk for 20th Century to even consider distributing the films. But the first one did so well, *which was completely unexpected* that Lucas just began writing out the rest of the trilogy. And, *I didn't know this* the concepts for the prequel trilogy were devised in 77. Hamill and Ford talked about it in a YouTube interview.

Indeed. :) Outstanding job and I do hope that eppisode VIII follows suit.

I understand that Carrie Fisher had finished her part of filming VIII. Will be interesting seeing her in a posthumous role. That said, I hope the producers get away from the starstruck nature of VII and get into it like was done on Rogue One.

I agree, I do hope they stick to the Rogue One style and the original trillogy. If they could just do that the upcoming eppisode could be as outstanding as Rogue One.

Yeah, but I get this feeling that the production of VIII had already started before Rogue One was released. We'll see I guess.

I have not even lookeed (or thought about) that. Hm.... :/

Well, hopefully things will be better than expected. Rogue One certainly was for me. I was skeptical. I intentionally didn't watch a trailer for Rogue One because I did not want to know. I will do the same for eppisode 8. At the very least it will keep me from being dissapointed if the trailer looks better than the movie or it will keep me from being depressed if the trailer looks terrible. lol

Either way I am sure I will enjoy the movie. It is star wars after all. It just might not live up to ALL my expectations.

Are there any folks who enjoy the Legends EU novels and comics? (Not much of a fan of the sequels and prefer the old stuff.)
