Which is your favourite scene in the movie? There are so many, it is really difficult to choose just one!
Even the opening scene where Sarah is in the park practising her lines, is wonderful. I would love to have that dress! And doesn't she have a great room?!
So all this before it's even begun! And Jennifer Connelly is absolutely beautiful as Sarah...... what a magic film!

No, it's that old 1980's movie starring David Bowie and Jennifer Connelly.
She dropped out of the scene for a while, but she's been in a few good movies lately. She was the wife in "A beautiful Mind" with Russell Crowe......
In real life she's married to the fair Brittish guy who starred opposite Kirsten Dunst in "Wimbeldon" - I think his name is Paul Bettany??? They've just had a baby.

Grab it on rental and have another look! It's just as good now as it was back then.
Jennifer Connelly was so beautiful in the lead and I can't imagine anyone else (........maybe Johnny Depp??) being the Goblin King! There were a couple of songs that David Bowie wrote and sang in the movie. I like both of them....

I agree Johnny Depp would make a very cool Goblin King, but who would play Sarah? Jennifer Connelly was absolutely gorgeous in that role........
The "muppet-style" creatures in the movie also made it special. If it was remade today it would all be computer graphics. Would the be a good thing?
Remember the "Helping Hands" that catch Sarah as she falls down the hole that leads to the oubliette? They were so well thought out and looked fabulous.

Can I join? I saw it at a friend's house, and really liked it. It sort of reminds me of LotR, only smaller...
