I live in cold but beautiful Canada, and I dream of visiting Australia/New Zealand, all of Europe(I dream big, okay?) and Thailand.

Luthien, cool mountains! Canada is such a cool place.
And about Santa - yeah, I know the history, he was a Turkish bishop. I think the Santa Claus in Lapland was "invited" by Finnish Radio in 1920s. Then, they built a special village for him and chose a guy to play this role. Now, There's a tradition that Santa lives in Finland ;P

Ahh, not much to inspire that Elven spirit, eh? Pretty much same here, grasslands and rolling hills mostly, but mountains aren't far away _________________
