I prefer the frost and fog I think. Rain is fine when you're not having to walk in it when you're at college.

Well the wind was about 60mph up here a few days ago. The house was shaking and things kept hitting the windows. We later found out they were roof tiles.

hey guys! sorry i haven't been around for a while.
mephiston - you're right, but that's why it's safe.
estë - i'm with you on that one. anything's better than walking in the rain. well, walking home in the rain's alright, cuz at least you can get dry and get changed, but it's horrible when you're walking anywhere else.
the weather's alright here at the moment, actually. it's cold (as always) but at least the sun's out and the mist's cleared so you can see the moors.
cullen - i love love love your banner. but then, i love london.

Well, it's...
a) A conversation starter.
b) Anyone, anywhere, can contribute.
c) You don't need to know anything about anything, just what's happening outside your front door.
Safe as it gets.
@ Anduril: I call them 'rents, too. And we got frost and mist, too. Yay!

Too right you havent been around, but the important thing is that you are here now, Welcome back As for the weather, well, Its kind of a cultural thing isnt it?? A shared desire to (generally) moan about the (normally) dismal weather Este Undome wrote: Well, it's... a) A conversation starter. b) Anyone, anywhere, can contribute. c) You don't need to know anything about anything, just what's happening outside your front door.
A) I agree to.
B) I agree to.
C) Ill agree to (tacitly )
Safe as houses.

^ thankyou. it's good to be back.
i think it's just a shared desire to moan generally. if there's one thing we brits can do better than anyone else, it's moan. or maybe that's just us midlanders...

I think I might belong here....
I'm in Shropshire...
My phrase is "You're only supposed to blow the bloody doors off!"
Or if I'm not allowed that then "Hang on, lads; I've got a great idea."

Moved up with the 'rents about 3ish years ago. Hate it though. I mean its nice for a Holiday and that, but I'd much rather be home in the south-east.
WHAT??? I'll swap!
