Kitoky has just given me the thumbs up to open this club! All Lemony Snicket Fans are welcome! Feel free to discuss his books or anything about him.

1.) No badmouthing the author or his works (some critisism will be allowed, but I will not allow it to go too far).

O, i'll join!!!!! I LOVE those books!!! :-D i read penultimate (sp?) peril as soon as it came out & i've been DYING for the next one!!! can i join? & wut did u think of the movie? i thought it was OK, but the books are WAY better. :-D

Pip&leggyluver: I thought the books were good and the movie was too, but some of the scenes i pictured in the book (olaf's house) were different in the movie.

LOR: I hope so. The movies were pretty good and I'd like to see what happens next on the big screen.

I thought the ending of the 13th book was cruddy, tho. *shreads book to pieces*

Oh. Sorry. :blush: I just thought that LS would come up with some sort of complicated plot and a much better ending than he did. It was NOT at all what I expected. Very dissappointing. :disgust:

oo, can i join? i've read the 12 books. my library still doesnt have the 13th one. grr... but my professor said it doesnt end like all children books do. I love LS because of his wittiness (is that even a word?). he just cracks me up. remember the dejavu chapter? in the carniverous carnival. omg. i couldnt get over it. lol. anyway. i havent seen the movies yet. i think i wont because i heard its really wierd. anyway...so i hope i get to join.
