Yes! I agree! We need the Fantasy RPG to pick up again, anyone want to join. . . .? We have cookies!  And the Marauder's RPG needs a kick in the butt as well. I don't know where everyone went. . . .

We do seem to have more RPers back on board, so that's a good thing! And I hope that your RPG will become a success Tur! I do not have the time to join, but hopefully others will! Perhaps you should do some shameless advertising.. ?  Harthad, I've been hoping to get a post up for the Marauder's RPG, to get the plot miving, but simply didn't have time to write it. We also need some other players to make their introductions.. so if you would like, you could PM some of them, to remind them that we're ready to start now..  Also, concerning the revival of the RPG section, do you guys think it's an idea to PM some older RPGers and ask them if they are interested in joining once again? Perhaps what plots they're interested in and such.. It would be so nice to have the RPG board flourish again like it once did. _________________

Perhaps you could advertise in the A-U facebook group...? Although, most active people there seem to hang out there mostly for nostalgic reasons... Just an idea... Most of the 'old gang' stay in contact on facebook or means of IM so if you have the contac info on one or two you might get the message out to all of them like LDM, Meldawen, potr (you name them better than I can!! ) Good luck guys. _________________ >>Be the change you wish to see in the world<<

That is very sad... And the rpg boards seem very empty sometimes, too. I remember back when there were tons of rpgs active (Once I remember them being active even onto the second page. Now you just scroll down to the bottom and find dead ones). There are less rpers... and I remember the days when there seemed to be a new rpg every day. Maybe we need to start new rpgs that mirror the old ones that were active and see how that does?

I've been trying to post in the RPs I'm involved in. Maybe we could invite everyone to a writing contest--bring your own character, and everybody could RP randomly in that thread? Does that make sense?

I know I just recently started a new rp... but no one is joining. I guess no one is interested in it... It's kind of discouraging, really.
