Dose anyone remember the quote from Gandalf where he compares Eowyn to a steel flower and where would that be in the book?

I think it's the same quote that Grima uses in the movie. Or at least along similar lines. And I believe it's said in the Houses of Healing. I don't have the book with me so I don't know exactly.
Quote:
Who knows what you have spoken to the darkness. In bitter watches of the night. When all your life seems to shrink. The walls of your bower closing in about you. A hatch to trammel some wild thing. So fair, so cold, like a morning pale spring still clinging to winter's chill.

This is the 'steel flower' quote, from the Houses of Healing.

Quote:
When I first looked on her and perceived her unhappiness, it seemed to me that I saw a white flower standing straight and proud, shapely as a lily, and yet knew that it was hard, as if wrought by elf-wrights out of steel.

Gandalf also talks about 'a hutch to trammel some wild thing in' but it comes later in the chapter. :)

Such a heavy description of Eowyn! I have to say that I am in need of a read through the books this decade.
