I’ve been working on concepts for my indie project and I keep hitting the wall on whether to stick with 2D character designs or make the jump into 3D. 2D feels more manageable in terms of time and budget, but 3D opens up possibilities for animation and depth that 2D just can’t.

I’ve been reading guides and checking out examples, but honestly, I’m still split. If anyone here has experience balancing style with production costs, I’d love to hear your perspective. For some useful breakdowns I found while researching, you can Click here to see resources that helped me understand the pros and cons better.

What worked best for your projects? Did you stick to one style, or try to mix both?
