Actually there can be some truth is that story that a sickness comes back every year. It is possible in real life. There is a disease, i cant remember its name , but ticks can carry it and it is a very small chance, but if you get bitten by one once, you will get sick every year after that. Quite nasty if you ask me. |

Mmm...yes, but that is a physical sickness, I think Frodo's sickness was not quite like a physical sickness like the cold or something. That is interesting though. |

Aiya everyone:). Maybe Frodo also was just weary of all the things he went through. I hope I'm making sense:) ~Námairë, Tenn'enquetielva! Lady Nienna |

I believe Frodo was worn out from everything! And about the ring, it probably had a stronger affect on Gollum because he killed someone for it. That way the ring could torment him about being imortant enough to murder someone...that's just what came to mind. |

I agree. All the things Frodo went through probably added up to a great amount of weariness in the end. Btw, I love your banner Lady Nienna! |

He had too many things in his body that hurt him, specially the sting from the Nazgul, I gues that made Shelob's poison stronger...............poor thing. |

Yeah, I was reading LotR (what's new?) and Gandalf said that Frodo would never heal completly from the wound the Nazgul gave to him. |

He also said it in the movie, if that means anything. I don't think Shelob's poison ever wore off. |

Yes. By the end of the book, Frodo was quite beaten up. And has it been mentioned that his wounds only hurt on the day that they happened? |
