What is your opinion on these interesting creatures? Post your comments here. There pretty mysterious, not much is said about them. They're one of the coolest "bad guys" in the movies/books.

I really like their name. Seriously, how can you get any cooler than 'fell beast'? It just sounds wicked.

I don't remember where I read it, but I think their proper name is "Dwammerlaik".

At first I thought they were dragons..........but now I know they aren't. I'll have to admit they are pretty cool.

I thought they were lizards in the films... but the book described them more as twisted, huge bird-creatures..

they are really weird looking but kinda cool i guess.i dunno why the nazgul didnt ride them from the start.i like the spooky black horses but if the nazgul rode them from the beginning.........

well it would take the climax of them away in TTT.

I think it was because they needed the horses for the country roads in FOTR, they needed also to keep up the disguise of riders in black so the ordinary people didn't attack them...

Good point, very good point.

The Fell Beasts are like the Eagles of Mordor. They're pretty kick arse in the movies. Though it sucked they didn't let PJ have his blood in ROTK when it got it's head chopped off. >_< Awesome creatures!
