Okay, I know we're excited to see GoF and all but----
Who do you guys think could play a good Tonks? [I'm currently in adoration of the Lupin/Tonks pairing]. I know Vivi thinks Keira Knightley could play a Tonks....

I do think Keira would be good as Tonks. I can really imagine her going "Wotcher, Harry" all the time. The only other person who's kind of jumping to mind is Rachel Weisz (spelling!), but I can't really imagine her with pink hair.
Now every time I see any woman with pink hair I think "Tonks!"  _________________

There has been rumours that Anna Firiel (David Thewlis' wife) will be playing her. Don't know if it's true though. _________________

I can't think of anyone who could play her right now...I have such a vivid picture of Tonks myself that I'm very reluctant to see anyone portray her. *sigh* Not Keira, though, I don't think.

Yeah That's true!I think she would be an awesome Tonks. My sister(who is a a HP freak!!)told me the other day that she read that WB were considerating someone or some people for the role.I hope is her!

Personally I'd really really really really love Natalie Imbruglia. I don't think she's all that known. She sings and acts...

She looks WONDERFUL with pink hair streaked hair - if I could only get that picture!
Keira Knightley, not my personal choice, she looks great with short hair though but I can't see her being Tonks...............................[thinks] Or maybe I can..

I think she'd look the part but it all depends on if she can act....and is she british? I've heard of her but I've never heard her speak.
I'm not really sure if I can see Kiera as Tonks...if I hadn't seen your banner Vivi I would have said no definately not but now I'm not sure.
I have a tough time picturing tonks....it's annoying that she can make herself look like anyone lol

Haha, yeah, sometimes I act a bit like Luna...I think I look rather more like Hermione though (at least how she's _supposed_ to look in the books, not look-at-me-I'm-pretty-even-though-Hermione's-not-supposed-to-be Emma Watson).
Kit, that Natalie gal looks very Tonks-ish! But as Beriadanwen says, what really matters is whether she can act the part.

Unfortunately, Natalie is not British. She is Austrailian [and we all know Aussie women rocks] --- so I don't think she'd be a viable candidate.
She hasn't been in that many movies except for one of those comedy movies such as Johnny English, etc.

Yeah I also agree with Beri. The important thing is whoever plays Tonks, has to do a great job
