Two episodes of "Game of Thrones." A bit much for my taste-- I don't think I'll be following it in future. Some parts were really good, but others were simply repellant, and not to mention their obvious glee at being able to show naked women.

^^ That's just what HBO likes to do. Plus there's A LOT of sex in the books anyway. Yikes... Anyway. Basically all I've done is watch Merlin for the past two weeks. ^ Not always, HBO usually has very quality programing. But man, when they let loose they really let loose. And it's not even the fact that there was nudity and cursing at all that I mind, but it's the way it was done that bothered me. You can tell, when they get to put a naked woman on screen, they make sure they get a nice full body shot, from every angle, and then a good close-up of her behind and/or her breasts for good measure. It's insulting, really. And the cursing was frankly nonsensical. I've never heard people curse like that. They curse in high court or during dinner or any time they're relaxed and at ease, and yet when they're foot cut off they haven't a word to say! That's really bizarre to me.
Sorry, I've ranted a bit. It just makes me sad because it is a good show, but deeply flawed for me.
