I think the scripts and plotlines of Law & Order is good, but I don't like to watch it. I guess it's because they kinda overplay it. There are some days it would be on like ten channels...and the channels I'm looking forward to seeing movies.

You know, I know exactly what you mean. Like on TNT, it's like 5 hours every day of the original Law and Order. Gets old sometimes. Oh well. But I think all of the scripts are really well written. It's always funny if you can find references underneath everything they're saying. Personally I think in some episodes (well, in Criminal Intent) the writes are blatantly throwing some political "decisions" back into the government's face. Ha ha ha. Okay. . . no more politics.
Yay Dick Wolf!

I like SVU and CI. I don't like Chris Noth's CI though, so I watch SVU more often. I have the whole beggining of both of CI and SVU memorized. You know, the whole, 'In the Criminal Justice System, sexually based offenses are considered especially heinous (sp?). In New York city, the dedicated detectives who investigate these vicious felonies are members of an elite squad known as the Special Victims Unit. These are their stories.' Sad isn't it?
Goren is such a spaz, I love him!

I only sometimes watch SVU. If I'm really bored and have nothing to do. It's just not as good. I agree with you on Chris Noth. It's just so, so - not Criminal Intent. He just doesn't fit. He doesn't have Goren's "spaz"-iness. Ha ha ha. He is a spaz.
Oh, and I love the beginning of all the Law and Orders. "In the Criminal justice system. . ." blah, blah, blah. I seriously want to know who's voice that is. Ha ha ha.
Oh, Mire-I love the banner! Yay! Can I get one?!

Exactly. Criminal Intent is all about Goren being spaz-tic (that's what sets it apart from everything else) and Noth just doesn't have it.

I LOVE LAW AND ORDER! I love the original ones, and SVU. I don't like CI very much though, and Trial By Jury is okay. SVU is my favorite.

I think went overboard with TBJ<(Trial by jury).
But has anyone tried some of the habits that Goren has? Like certain hand positions or People watching.
"In New Yorks war on crim, the worest criminal offenders are pursued by the Det. of the Major Case Squad"
"I always have to watch my back around him." Goren talking to A.D.A Carver about the undercover cop.
And I have total for the Law & Order :
3400 twists
235 Psychopaths
475 Guilty verdicts
The story is everything.
Just go to NBC.com/criminalintent and they game you can play there.

You know, over this break I found out that my aunt is OBSESSED with Law and Order. She Tivo's every single episode. Ha ha ha. She's now becoming a CI fan! Yay! She said that Goren (and Vincent) freaked her out a bit, but now she's getting used to him a likes it a lot better. Yay! SO, needless to say, I saw lots of Law and Order over the past week. I didn't have a chance to get online and say that there were two days of marathons on USA network. One for SVU and one for CI. Sadly I didn't get to see the CI one. Ha ha. But Sunday night, on NBC, one of the CI episodes was "Prisoner" (I think that's the episode name) and Goren was all undercover and spazing out to music in shorts acting like a mail man. I was having hysterics the whole time. Oh man.
The only reason I liked Trial By Jury was because it had Scott Cohen in it. The lady scares me - she played Frasier's ex-wife on Frasier and scared the crap out of me as a kid. Ha ha ha.
You know, I've noticed I've started to stand and hold myself like Goren. It's weird. Ha ha ha. I'm turning into a Monk/Goren! Ha ha ha!
Oh, and next week on NBC is a new episode I think (of CI) but it's with Chris Noth. Tonight there's a new SVU episode with the kid who plays Walt in LOST.

I saw the SVU episode. It was back to the old Gun laws and sayings. I remembered quite lot from that episode. It had so much it about the disputes on gun laws I almost forgot what it was about.
