I watched a bunch of the worlds "Top Guitarists" playing their pieces. O_O Reminds me why I don't play guitar much any more... when there is talent out there like that.... I'll just listen instead.

Was considering catching a Seattle Thunderbirds game when I was in town in October but it didn't happen. There is a local team here called Southern Stars that play a junior league. I should go see one of their games. Remembering my youth when the Vancouver Canucks and the Seattle Totems and the Portland Buckaroos all had a good rivalry going in the WHL. Shieldmaiden, how did you like Eastern Promises? It's quite a departure from Aragorn, to be sure!  I liked it a lot as contrasted with A History of Violence and Capitan Alatriste, which both also feature a grittier Viggo. It felt like he still was playing someone with morals, which was a nice refresher. His acting was top-notch in all of them, though!

It has certainly defined him as a very fine actor. I've enjoyed all of his collaborations with David Cronenberg and others including, Appaloosa, Hidalgo and Altariste. Some of his pre-Aragorn work is also worth checking out, such as Indian Runner, G.I. Jane and and Carlito's Way. I should mention for the uninitiated, he is definitely an adult actor. His films are not suitable for children. Out of curiosity, have you seen The Road and, if so, what did you think of it? |

I recently watched episode 1 of starwars.... and eppisode two... and the 2003 animated clone wars series... lol Then I am going to watch the 2008 animated clone wars, then eppisode 3, then star wars Rebels, then rogue one, then eppisodes 4 5 6 and 7 so I will watch the entire thing in sequential order.
