There have been acouple of mentions to it so i'll just put it out here: Eragon IS being made into a movie. it will be directed by first-timer Stefen Fangmeier and is supposed to be released june 16 2006. Filming starts late july. Excited? Hate the idea? Have more info? I want to know what you think!

Ooo...Yes...It's being filmed over in Romania or something! next June it's released!Woohoo! I'm really interested to see how it turns out...

Edward Speelers is supposedly suppossed to play Eragon. He is 17, and has never acted in anything besides small school productions(gulp  ). Jeremy Irons and John Malkovich have also been rumored to have joined the cast. you can find a picture of Speelers here:
