I haven't seen another TB thread up so I just decided to make one after seeing that I am not the only fan of the hit series on HBO.

Now I admit that I haven't read the books and feel in love after a friend told me about the show and then watched the first season in one sitting.

Oh, this is definitely a good show I watched the entire first season in one sitting as well. :) It's very addicting. I would highly recommend reading the books though... they're even better. They changed things up quite a bit for the TV series, and the Sookie in the books is even better. I also love the Eric from the book series. The books are equally addicting and you can get through them very quickly.

I'm completely and utterly obsessively in love with this show. I only recently was able to get the books and I'm only at Dead to the World. I need the rest....desperately

Now I really want to read the books, though I will have no time to read any books other than what my classes give me so I'll have to stick to this epic series.

I am hopelessly obsessed with True Blood and the Southern Vampire Mysteries novels. I'm addicted and proud of it!

I've only read the first two books but I'm currently waiting for book 3-6 to arrive in the mail. HUZZAH!

I just cheat, I watch it online. They only just started showing Season 1 over here. But I love the show so much I can't wait that long. I need it asap :lol:

Hahaha same, I cheat too. But I cheat out of necessity since I do not even have the channel that aired Season 1 and that will air Season 2 later this fall. So I couldn't even watch it legally even if I wanted to.

So yeah, I download every episode.

Dead Until Dark is the first one I believe.... my favorite character is definitely Erik. He's just... awesome. In pretty much every way. His sense of humor amuses me. How can you go wrong with a vampire Viking? ;)
