Post subject:  Finally discoverd... the Doctor
So... For years I've seen all this big fanbase based off of Doctor Who. When we had tv service(which we don't have anymore due to financial reasons) I would often see commercials for it and wonder what it was about.

Well, my cousin allows us the use of her netflix to watch things instantly and I have finally discovered and watched Doctor Who!

I'm only on episode 3 or season 1... but I'm already hooked! Now I see what the whole hubub is about. I've seen living plastic and the end of the world... O.O what a series this is... lol!

And it only gets better. I'm glad you've discovered the wonder that is Doctor Who. I think everyone should. :)

The Christmas special before season 6 is airing Christmas day. :D On BBC America. (Which I don't get, but I bet it'll be online in better quality that *cough* other places.)

I wonder how long it'll take me to catch up... I'm already over half way season one.

But JF... I have so much time on my hands, and you could say I'm tv deprived, and I've been so curious....

And I've been to that darkside... they lied about the cookies... >.> lol! And... I have no sanity left to wander to a darkside. My sanity left me a long time ago.

Yeah, we keep growing. Out of curiosity, have you watched the show? One of my friends at school ridiculed it for a long time, and now just refuses to watch it out of principle. :lol: It always makes for an interesting discussion.


Probably won't take you too long, Rain. Only 13 a season. :D Goes quickly. Now I want to rewatch some of my favorites, but it's late and I'd scare myself. :teehee:

I've only been watching the 2005 series... and started today. If that's what you mean. I just find parts of it funny and amusing. Though don't go around expecting Doctor Who sig sets from me, lol! I haven't gotten that into it yet. And I don't think I've gone away from a Cloud sigset in... a year or so?

Yeah... lets see... I am now on episode 9... lol!

Hahaha, Nurr, my mother is very much the same. She caught like, one episode in the middle of season two, and you simply cannot do that, because you only catch the b-list sci-fi of the episode, not the story or the brilliance underneath it. Which is unfortunate, but hey.


Also, you're just buzzing straight through it, Rain. Good for you. Catch up!

*evil laugh* Nice to see someone else has become a Whovian! :P I am really late on this but yeah it gets you hooked pretty fast huh? :lol: Unless you are one of my friends who doesn't like Doctor Who. :jawdrop: Blaspemy, I know. Oh well, her grandma and I talk about it a lot though since she is from Britian.

I am sure by now you are all caught up and ready for Season 6!! The commercials for it on BBCAmerica are so adorable! They keep taunting us with it that it is just becoming cruel...
