A recent documentary about three young wolves in Europe, from eastern Germany, Slovenia (or Croatia?), and the Italian Apennine Mountains, which had been fitted with radio tracking collars, and followed their progress, in every case crossing national borders and covering considerable distances, and with quite divergent fates.

A documentary about the East Frisian Island Baltrum, the smallest and in terms of absolute population least populated of the East Frisian Islands which have a permanent population. Except for fire engines, one ambulance and some construction vehicles for coastal protection, there are no motorized vehicles on the island. So, bicycles (OK, some of them have electrical motors) and horse-drawn vehicles are the mode of non-pedestrian traffic.

A show in one of the really small private TV channels about a tuner in Munich who takes extremely over-motorized US “cars” (often extremely overweight SUVs) and tunes them up to lunatic levels. Most of these things have mileage in the range of the Abrams heavy battle tank, or so it seems. :dizzy:

About three hours of the more than three-an-a-half hour-long documentary of the Woodstock Rock and Folk Festival of 1969, with German subtitles (which I mostly didn’t need). The Original also had English subtitles, possibly due to the poor quality of the sound recorded during some interviews, but possibly also due to rather thick accents of those speaking (in upstate New York???). :confused2:

Lawman

First time watching it. Really liked it so I ordered the dvds of the series. Same thing happened a couple years ago with the western Cheyenne.

Started watching the series 'Fargo' onnetflix. I've seen bits and bobs of the series on late night TV but not enough to know what's going on. It's kind of cool to see places I regularly been to as a kid visiting my grandparents in Nisswa. Places like Bimidji, Duluth, and of course, Fargo...
