ZOMG! ZOMG!
I am far too excited about it. Although I'm also very sad about it. I know for a fact that at the end of it I will be crying my eyes out and the main reason I will be crying won't be due to anything that happens in the film. That's it. My childhood is over. Harry Potter has been such a part of my childhood that when the last book was published I wasn't ready to let go. I needed the excited and the suspend still for a book release but I knew I wasn't going to get one. So I got into the films. I used to really, really hate the films and I still think they're rubbish compared to the books but I do get excited and worked-up about a film release now because I need the Harry Potter-hype. Once I've watched Deathly Hallows part 2, that's it. It's all over.
So now I've got to figure out if I go see on the 15th July or if I wait a few weeks to give myself a bit longer. There's a small part of me that is even tempted to wait for the DVD release but I know that will be impossible for me to do plus I want to see it in 3D so my shrek 3D glasses can have another outing . (They're this but adult-sized... )
I am sososososo excited for the movie after having seen the trailer. It looks so much more epic than part 1 (well it better be!). I love the shots with Snape.. no one can strike a pose like him *shiver* and the fighting scenes look pretty intense (well, they better be!).
I sort of understand why you want to put it off but just wait til the hype really picks up and I'm sure you'll be excited for the movie and want to watch it on the 15th. And hopefully, you'll be satisfied with the movie as the perfect conclusion of a long journey.

AHHH so exciting!
I get where you're coming from, Hravan, but honestly I feel like I'll have waited long enough when it FINALLY comes I have so say I don't like the movies much, because I think they've thought too much about being commercial and not enough about staying true to the story (quite the opposite of PJ and the LotR crew in other words). But still. I thought HP 7.1 was pretty good, so I'm excited for part 2.
One question though - what's the deal with Harry jumping off the cliff with Voldemort?

Probably, yeah I hope it doesn't turn out to be one of those moments where you end up thinking "they had a perfectly brilliant passage from the book to use - and then they did THIS?!"

^ I thought it was more of a NNNYEAAAAAUUUGH!!! There's definitely an n in there somewhere.
I am beyond excited for this. So much so that I've been really selective about what sort of spoiler-ish material I watch/read. I have seen the beginning of the trailer, but as soon as Voldy and Harry jump off the cliff I couldn't watch anymore. That was enough to give me a heart attack.
However, I have been reading quite a bit [mainly Mugglenet.com's report from a pre-screening of DH2 in Chicago]. So, while I haven't seen much visuals I do know most of the major changes that will occur, including the cliff jumping bits. It's going to be verrry interesting.

Ahh, longing for this movie!
But I also wonder about the "Harry and Voldemort down the cliff"-scen... I hope the movie does not avoid from the book to much.

^ I feel like without any punctuation, there should be a spoiler alert for that sentence...
I'm with everyone else who had a lolwut reaction to the cliff scene, but besides that, the trailer is absolutely epic Maybe I'll haul myself out to a midnight showing for the release since I haven't done it for any of the other HP movies. Last chance!
