I think the reason there wasn't much emphasis on the Kathryn is missing storyline is that the episode was set one day after last time. I think Emma is trying to keep it quiet to figure out what's going on, and she hadn't been missing for that long. Technically wasn't considered a missing person. I expect it will get to be more and more of an issue through the next few.

Yet again, no Archie. Why writers, why?

This is probably the first time in a while that I've preferred the Storybrooke parts to the Fairy Tale parts. It just seemed sort of dull to me, I guess. Maybe because the story line was almost too predictable? As soon as his name came up "Dreamy" you really just sort of knew what would happen. It was a decent episode, but I guess I've not felt too attached to any of the last few. (With the exception of small bits like Frederick and them selling the candles and August.)

So I started out not liking that episode, and at some parts I found it really predictable. BUT. The whole thing with the heart and the fingerprints BLEW MY FREAKING MIND.

Whose heart do you think it is? Really, there are only three people who it can't belong to: Henry, Emma, and Graham. Graham because he's already dead, and Emma and Henry because neither of them were in the fairy tale world in the first place (well, Emma was, but for five minutes). Based on next week's promo, I actually think the heart might be Regina's. Because it looks like Snow goes psycho, and I think Regina keeps all the hearts in her possession in the creepy mauseoleum place.

The heart. What the heck. It's so creepy! But, why was David out in the woods in the first place?

Arabella, that does sound cool, that the heart could be Regina's. Is the part when Snow goes psycho after she finds James, or what? Hmm. . .this episode just poses too many questions.

It doesn't help that none of the events in the fairy tale world are in sequential order...they're all wibbly-wobbly timey-wimey! It's got to be after she finds James, and it looks like she's in the dwarves' cottage, so it might even be after she drank that potion that made her forget him. But if it is, then why was she even talking to him, if she doesn't remember him? Also, did anyone else notice that one of Snow's outfits next week is the Disney Snow White dress? With the red hair bow and everything, it looked like.

I didn't see the promo for next week, but I kind of think the heart is David's. It would explain why he went all strange. Or it could be Katherine's, planted by Regina to frame Mary-Margaret and ruin her life.

Pretty neat episode, over all. I like Red way more than I thought I would.

Interesting idea Taur, the thought that it could be David's heart didnt even enter my mind. It could have something to do with David's black outs in his memory, but it would pose some odd questions since Emma is getting it tested, but still with this show, anything seems possible! Regina probably planted it to frame Mary Margaret, as another way to keep her and David farther apart. But I agree, this episode just raised some big questions! And also, I think the idea of Red being a werewolf creature is totally awesome!

Yeah, it is kind of awkward that it's being tested. If it turns out to belong to someone who's still alive then no one in Storybrooke is going to know what to think! I can't wait.

I agree, Red being a werewolf was pretty cool! Maybe it was supposed to be obvious but I totally didn't see it coming. I didn't realize she was so gorgeous, either! I loved her red, floppy hat.

Oh my gosh, you guys, look what I found! I was watching "Skin Deep" again and I noticed in the background of Rumple's estate was Mickey Mouse's sorcerer hat from Fantasia.

So...what did everyone think? I think they're stretching it a bit next week with Alice in Wonderland--that's not a classic fairy tale, it's a Lewis Caroll novel! And I'm getting so confused about Snow/Mary-Margaret...

I still think Red is awesome, I'm glad Snow is no longer crazy, I was thrilled to see Rumple come back, and I think Mary Margaret is in trouble. I think Regina planted that key in her cell, knowin that with all the evidence piling up against her she would be pushed to the brink and use the key to break out, which makes Mary look bad, and also makes Emma look bad. Sorta a two birds with one stone thing. I did think the whole 'make Snow remember' thing happened pretty quick though.

I completely agree with pretty much everything you said.

Is it just me, or when things are going badly between Snow and Charming in the fairytale world, things are going good with Mary-Margaret and David in Storybrooke, and when things are going well in the fairytale world, things are going badly with them in Storybrooke? With their relationship, I mean.

^^ I noticed that too! I guess maybe they use the alternate story lines as a type of tension between the characters. I reckon if everythin is hunky-dory between them in both worlds we've got a problem! I still want to know who that mystery author guy is though, why he knows so much about that book and everyone in town, what part he played (if any) in story world. If my silly theory about him winds up being true I'll have to duct tape my jaw back on.

LOL. I was texting my mum during the episode, and she was getting really angry because she doesn't consider Alice in Wonderland a fairy tale (because it's a novel and not one of the Brothers Grimm or anything) and because it was confusing, and then she suddenly texted me "FEZZES ARE COOL!"
