Couldn't believe there wasn't a thread for this show.

The Walking Dead is an American horror drama television series developed by Frank Darabont. It is based on the comic book series of the same name by Robert Kirkman, Tony Moore, and Charlie Adlard. The series stars Andrew Lincoln as sheriff's deputy[2] Rick Grimes, who awakens from a coma to find a post-apocalyptic world dominated by flesh-eating "walkers", resembling zombies. He sets out to find his family and encounters many other survivors along the way.

Currently there are three seasons completed with a fourth filming.

There may be spoilers in this thread! However, as courtesy, if anyone wishes to talk about the latest episodes (end of season 3) which may not have aired globally yet, please just mention at the beginning of the post that it might contain spoilers.



I watch season one when it had just completed airing, and wasn't impressed. I mean, I love zombies and "should" have liked it, but there was just something lacking. Then there was also the fact that the character Lori really annoyed me and I didn't like anything she said or did. Now I'm watching season two, giving it another shot, and I'm liking it a lot more at this point. I obviously haven't gotten too far yet, but right now I'm ok with what's going on. My favorite character is Daryl, and my least are Carl and Lori.

OMG I LOVE THIS Show!! (sorry i got excited ) I've only seen like up to half of season 3 due to no cable, But it's kind of addicting! My favorites are probably Michonne, and Glenn

I'm so in love with Rick it's ridiculous! But the show is SOOO good. I mean, I don't even like half the story lines and sometimes think they're just way off, but the general theme and the characters make up for it.

I never really like Rick, he kinda just bothered me. Not sure why though. The story line is a little rough. I think there for a while they got stumped and just kinda made up something until they could figure it out. Though i do love how they made the "zombie change" a little more believable. I like the CDC episode where it explaines the change much more scientifically. (I am a logical thinker sometimes which is weird since I also love fantasy)

I don't know. I liked the idea of no one knowing anything really of why it was all happening. To me that just makes it even more terrifying. Of course zombies aren't scary to me, but it gets more intense, for the characters too.

The two characters I just... cannot deal with are Carl and Lori. Just go away. Plz.

I can understand what happened to Shane, and where he came from. At first he did actually think Rick was dead, and then it was just about lust and nothing else. Then it got worse and worse, with him first accepting that Rick was alive but then feeling contempt towards him because in Shane's mind everything Rick did was wrong. Then the main turning point came when he killed Otto to save Carl. Because Shane felt as if it was his duty to protect Carl and Lori, and that he was doing it better than Rick, and if he succeeded in that then maybe she'd love him back.
