They're not showing JP in 3D in Sweden. So I just sent a very lenghty email to protest.

I liked the context of 300 (e.g. the political background) more than anything else. I don't really care for the slow-motion cartoon-character-like fight sequences they do in that movie - it seems less real that way. I haven't seen 300, because of the action overload Some male friends were pretty crazy about it after seeing it in the theatre, but after hearing their stories I decided it was not a movie I wanted to watch. Last night I re-watched Iron Man, and I was reminded of why I didn't like it that much. Sure, the action looks great and the funny moments are sometimes genuinely funny, but it misses a real steady plot in my opinion. That's why I enjoy all the Marvel-based movies (Iron Man, Thor, Avengers, etc) when I'm very tired or bored, but they will never make it to my personal top 10. I did like the Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downey Jr. I guess I just love the more intelligent-ish action movies, with riddles to be solved

I thought it was good. I liked how it stayed pretty faithful to the graphic novel (which is awesome, for those who haven't read it and are interested in reading graphic novels). There were some questionable and misappropriated music choices for certain scenes, but in general, a solid action/superhero film. My friend thinks the film is underrated but I haven't met many people to discuss it with so can't say that myself. Has anyone seen Watchmen here? Yay, another person who likes RDJ's Sherlock. I thought the first one was really entertaining, the plot wasn't see-through, and the riddles were actually interesting to follow.

As I said before I love the Sherlock Holmes movies with Robert Downey Jr. . About 300 it's bloody, with over sexuality and half naked men still it was a great story. I don't know it is all true history (About the Parisian cruelty but still I am on the Spartan side ) . 300 is coming for a second part with Eva Green.

GI Joe. The first one. Oh maaah too much action. It just... went way overboard everywhere. Ew.

My favorite adventure-y movies: National Treasure (the first one. The 2nd one had too much action and a lame villain and was boring.) Thor The Princess Bride (I've watched this movie so many times and am still not bored of it. XD) Pirates of the Caribbean (well, some of them) I know there are more, but I can't think of them at the moment. There are some action movies I don't like, because there's too much action. The Avengers, for example. It had some epic dialogue and stuff, but too many explosions. And I really didn't appreciate all the battles in the Hobbit. Some extra fight scenes are ok. But no movie should have that much fighting.

I've watched very few ensemble superhero movies, the only ones I can think of being X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which was not really my cup of tea, and Watchmen, which I quite liked. Everyone seems to love The Avengers though so maybe I should think about watching it sometime. The past few years, Hollywood has been obsessed with superhero films; I wonder what the next trend will be. My friends were saying it could be US remakes of successful foreign films (they're all pretty upset over Spike Lee remaking Oldboy).

Wow, that many times? You must really love it haha The character I really liked/thought was cool was Gambit. ^^ I liked his power.
One time, I was flipping TV channels and the end of Fantastic Four (?) was playing. It looked so bad I just wanted to stay and watch it for the rest of the final minutes of the movie. The CGI looked terrible and the acting was pretty atrocious.

I haven't seen the latest X-Men movies or the Avengers or any of the movies of the people in it. Or the new Spider Man. Which is weird because I love that type of movies, really.
The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen is awesome though.

I've wanted to see Jack Reacher a while now, but I'm not sure it'll be any good.
