I'm not sure if there is already a thread for this movie, but I just HAD to start one... I absolutely LOVE this movie! RED RUM! *ahem* yes... ANyone else?

I do like The Shining...though the book is better. Jack Nicholson is really great in it.
The "Here's Johnny" scene is played out for me though.

Oh my gosh, that movie is so scary. I remember after watching it I was really scared that the creepy bath-lady would come into my bedroom. I think it was the scariest movie I've ever seen. I still loved it though.

The Shining was scary, but I think the suspense was what was killing me the most...the chasing through the labyrinth scene, I had nightmares that I was being hunted like that!! "Red Rum"..."Murder" awesome thoughts in this movie (Stephen King is a genius)

But yeah, the "Here's Johnny" scene made me sink in my seat. Jack Nicholson was such a pyscho!! He's a brilliant actor though, and the movie is a classic fav

I NEED to see this movie! Everyone says it is so wonderful and so terrifying! My mom refuses to ever see it again, it scared her so bad. But I still want to see it I love the classic picture of Jack Nicholson peeking through the door

It was also filmed in a huge hotel (forget the name of it) in Estes Park, which is near where I live. If I saw this movie I would probably never be able to stay there (not that I ever would-- its really nice and expensive)

Yaay i love scary movies! I wasnt really scared in it, because i dont really get scared easily, but it was awesome!
