Ah, finally some levity! :P

Despicable Me 2

I loved the first one and the Minions movie. They make me laugh! Yeah, it doesn't take much.

Like Gandolorin, I watch them on DVD. We subscribe to Netflix and Xfinity and I have a TV card in my computer along with two monitors. I can play on-line on one while watching the news on the other. :P And with the news these days, I need a positive diversion.

Ralph Bakshi’s 1978 “The Lord of the Rings” DVD. More deviations and compressions that I remembered from my previous viewing, but Aragorn and the Hobbits look much closer to my personal imagination of them.

The Doors

I forgot what a great job Val Kilmer did portraying Jim Morrison in this movie!

Sleepers.

Love this movie so much, such a heartbreaking story. I hadn't seen it in well over a decade, so I felt it was high time.

Pirates Of The Caribbean Dead Men Tell No Tales.

I thought it was really good.
I think it is funny because there is three actors in this film connected to Middle-Earth. Of course Orlando Bloom but also in this film is David Whenham who played Faramir and Adam Brown who played Ori.

Wonder Woman. I thought it was quite well done. The ending got a bit rushed and predictable, but it didn't derail all the work put in to telling the story. It was definitely a prequelish lead-in to a franchise. Good entertainment!

What's a POTC?

Watched Seven Days in May on Blu Ray. Classic, and it really shows how far down the toilet the USA has fallen when it comes to respect of the Presidency.

I'll venture a guess (Captain Boromir’s post above kinda gives it away):
“Pirates Of The Caribbean.” :pirate:

Rock Dog.

The kids saw it and insisted we had to see it too. I was all set for a cheesy kids cartoon but was surprised. It is defenitely for kids but it was far more entertaining than I expected.

“Hotel Transylvania” and “The Avengers”. I especially got a total kick out if the scene in TA near the end when Loki mouths off to the Hulk in Duhnald Dementia fashion, and then get thrashed about in flyswatter fashion seven times by the Hulk, after which Loki is only able to utter a very choked whimper.
