I know it's actaully quite an old movie (made before I was born!) but I was wondering if anyone else has seen Amadeus. My dad rented it the other day because he said I'd really like it and that it had gotten best picture and so on. So I watched it and found myself loving it! Mozart's music really is amazing. The acting was terrific too. I suppose that's why it got Best Picture. Anyway I'd highly recommend it even though it is slighlty depressing toward the end. Any thoughts?

Yup, I've seen it. I actually first saw at least part of it when I was really little, and what's-his-name (Mozart's rival) scared me to death with his black robe costume, so I never saw the rest. Then a little less than a year ago, I saw the whole thing, and I really liked it! The guy who played Mozart did a great job playing an immature and conceited little brat I'm also pretty sure that the actress who played his wife played one of the girls in Grease. So yeah, good movie

Not idea where I picked up that little sprog of information, but I guess it must have been important, otherwise it wouldn't ave stayed in my head...

My dad owns it, but I've seen it once, a couple years ago. I didn't like it much, (kinda creeped me out ) but I might watch it again

My parents "forced" me and my sister to watch it when we were kids.. and by "force" i mean that they wanted us to watch it, because they wanted us to be as cultivated as possible and to broaden our minds which I thank them for (we have seen and done so many things most people my age never have).

I love that movie, it's extremely well done, and yeah well the music is great

I really like that movie! It shows how insane Mozart was. It makes playing his music much more creepy. Also, I think he had a thing for repeats. All his music pretty much have about 5 repeats in it.
