I'm currently reading Tomorrow when the war began by John Marsden.
Its and amazing peice of Litery which follows the lives of a group of Australian Teenagers as they struggle to respond to the surprise invasion and conquest of their country. Its makes you wonder whant you would do If you were faced with sush a situation.
With the way the world is right now, this book doesnt seem so far fetched, I mean this could happen in any country.
Has anybody else come accross this book?
I'm currently up to the fourth book. So far in the past two weeks Ive read the first three books, It has only taken me like 3 days each to complete, there so amazing I jut cant stop reading untill I get to the end.
If you havent heard of it or read it yet, I reccomend that you go to a library, or find yourself a copy and start readign them! Theyre exellent novels for teens, I first read The first few books of the tomorrow series when they were first released many many years ago.

I ADORE these books. I've just started reading the seventh one. It is amazing, like all the others. John Marsden is one of my favourite authors. ![Grin :-D](./images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Hm, I read "Tomorrow" in year nine English. I didn't mind it - I found it a captivating read, but it wasn't my favourite book.
I read the second one, and I had no idea what happened. All I could remember were a few weird bits and that they blew up people's houses with toasters or something... so I didn't read any of the others. My friend read the lot, and showed me the important parts - like when particular characters died and such... and my other "friend" insisted on reading all the dirty bits aloud to me.
I heard the first chapter of the "Ellie Chronicles" read aloud on the radio when it first came out - let's just say it didn't convince me to read the books... and yeah, I think that's about it... I seem to remember writing a really scathing easy on Tomorrow... and I'm not impressed in parallel's between my name, and one of the characters...
