^I know what you mean. Sometimes Halt reminds me a bit of Aragorn and Gandalf, which is really awesome. I liked Alyss too, I can't wait to see her again...

Yea, Alyss is cool to. I liked that part in book 2 when Halt is helping her on the her mission. "The girl was smiling at him again. It was almost as if Halt could feel if radiating agains his face."

^:lol: I enjoyed that bit very much. I also thought it was sweet when she told Halt, "Ever since I was a child I knew I was going to marry [Will]" and then Halt muses on the fact that she's really not much more than a child now. It made me smile. I'm also curious about the relationship between Halt and Lady Penelope...I'm fairly sure they hinted at something in the past but I don't remember for sure.
