Mum and my older siblings used to read to me all the time. Granted when my brother's read to me it was mostly Turtles comics and I LOVED them.

I adore turtle comics. I have no elder brothers or sisters. I am the eldest grand daughter in both families with none before me and many after me.

I had only granddad to read for me (mum and dad was always working). I come from a strong connected house; I lived with my whole family and my grand parents in the same house for 13 years; now I am 25 and a little away.
I read BATMAN when I was young :) .

I was pretty young when I started reading Sailor Moon too. Long before this massive craze of anime and manga hit Sweden. People used to tease me for it and now it's the most "in" thing ever. >_>

I do know W.I.T.C.H. But that came out a lot later, at least in Sweden, and by that time I was so busy fangirling over other things. xD

I do remember reading Nancy Drew and never liking it. I favored my Hardy Boys. xD

I LOVED Hardy Boys! Didnt care much for Nancy Drew, either. But I must have checked out every Hardy Boy's mystery the school library had.

I remember when I was really small, I liked Astrid Lindgren and Tove Jonson books. You know, Ronja and the Moomins :P I was a romantic kid haha.

Heh, I liked the Moomins too :D But I've had only one book about them... And I liked the animation tv series (1990) :] The Groke always freaked me out.
I loved also The Lion King book, my dad used to read it to me many times :)

Astrid Lindgren, the wonderful woman who gave us Pippi Longstocking.

Pulling from some of the titles people have mentioned here~

Anne of Green Gables is great.

I love Ella Enchanted so much! I still reread it every now and then. I wish I didn't have the horrid paperback that was published after the movie...the hardback with the illustration of Ella is so much better.

Has anyone here read Mrs. Piggle-Wiggle books? Hot damn, those were so awesomely quirky.
