Let's see...

LotR
The Binding of the Blade series by L.B. Graham (only read the first one)

I've read so many others, I can't choose favorites.

Far too many to list, especially since I'll read just about every genre out there. I love YA and romance. Pretty much anything but mystery.

At the top of the list would have to be The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I'm on the 5th in the series right now. Just one more to go until the new ones come out. I only wish they weren't such looooong books.

The end of Dragonfly in Amber just breaks your heart.

I have completely fallen in love with "Jamie Fraser." I love the things that come out of his mouth. He is such a romantic/naughty/funny/faithful/honorable/tragic character. Gerard Butler would be SUPERB as Jamie one day. His personality is so very much like that character. Not to mention he's Scottish, same as Jamie.

The Bride by Julie Garwood is also great. I love a lot of her books.

Also, you can't go wrong with The Princess Bride by William Goldman. The book was just as good as the movie. A very fun read.

OK so LOTR of course! but also every Shakespeare's plays and above all a Midsummer night's dream! this play is so wonderful and it has elements in common with LOTR: magic, elves... I recommend this play to everybody!
