Very true. And though his work in better then mine, I'm not publishing mine. Yeas, he was 15, but maybe he should have waited a few years. Actually, nevermind about that idea. He waited a while on Eldest and look what happened there!

I agree with that. I was using his age to point out an excuse for his writing quality. I also agree in wishing that he could have waited to write his book until he was older and more mature so he could have done his ideas justice instead of filling in the gaps with other stories and such. *shrugs*

Well... if you took out the gaps where he put other stories in... you wouldn't have all that much left, if you know what I'm saying.

You wouldn't have anything left... its the truth.
15 is often too young to publish something decent, and even though he took a while to wait for Eldest, it still sucked.

No, bashing books that shouldn't even be books (they should be fanfiction) makes us feel better.

Okay well...I suppose you guys are the people who decide which books are books and which are not. Wow. I've never heard about those type of people in the world. [/sarcasm]

Girly, everyone has a right to dislike what books and everyone has the right to call books books or not books. Like the last girl we had to argue with, if you don't like it... then nobody is forcing you to stay. We aren't bashing the books... we're criticizing them.
Apparently this thread isn't making you crack up... I can see that you're getting upset. Upset people don't crack up.
You go ahead and keep on liking them... we aren't trying to make anyone do otherwise.

Do not call me girly.

Useless to you because you disagree with what we say. There is an Eragon fan club for the fans. I think you may prefer that to this thread.

ha. I probably agree with you guys more than you would know.
except..I just think its plain dumb useless to bash a book or anything. I mean...you hate it. You hate it. Just...get over it instead of complaining and moaning over how dumb it is. Ya know?
Yes, I am dumb. Thank you. Thats my opinion. So I hope you'll take it and move on. And I dont give a rats hat if you dont like my opinion.

We aren't complaining and moaning... we are being critical and constructive. This is a forum, and if we don't discuss, then what do we do here? Just because our thoughts are negative, it doesn't mean that it's worth less to discuss than a positive thought.
And yes, if you wish to say that, then fine... I'll take it and we will move on to discussing Paolini's poor writing skills. Telling us that this thread is pointless isn't going to make us stop discussing what we were. You thinking that it's useless means nothing to me... it's worth your try though. But really, only Arwen can shut us up.
Did anyone ever say that they didn't like your opinion? Not here. You are the one implying that you dislike ours. So really, we should be the ones saying that we couldn't care less about what you think of our opinions.
Anyway...

^oh, just a reminder, every time you make a one word posts, a puppy and part of Kit dies inside. Just a heads up.
There are a lot of B-rated authors out there with more talent and more patience and more skills than this guy. At least they know their stuff is fanfiction, and dont parade it as something that it isnt.

No, its true. It's an A-U policy.
I would love to make something out of my life, writing a book(or several) is definately one option. But i know that if I published it now, it would be terrible. I'm not done high school yet, and i dont have a university of college degree. Patience is a virtue, and maybe, Chrissy should of gotten some patience, and not to mention a college or university degree in linguistics, or writing, or something!
