Hmmm...there are two books that have made me cry. The first one was when I read "Where the Red Fern Grows" back in fourth grade. That book was way too sad. I hated when the dogs died. The other book was called "Trigger" and it was about this guy who tried to commit suicide but didn't and ended up with brain damage. He went back to his old school and was on this "mission" to find out why he tried to kill himself. I was pretty much sobbing through the whole thing.

I read this book last night, I can't remember what it was called, but it was very late and I was crying through the whole of the ending :(

I cried when I read that book too and at first I thought it was just because I was in like 4th grade so I re read it like a year ago and i still cried...but not too many books make me cry. I actually use that to gauge whether or not it's a spectacular book to me...if it's supposed to be heart wrenching and i don't feel anything it's probably not a good book to me but if i'm crying my eyes out because a character dies or something traumatic happens that's a very good book...well that's how I gauge it in my mind anyways

I don't tend to read novels very often any more (I tend to go for biographies and history books these days!). But I did have a bit of a thing for a series of novels by E.V.Thompson (which were set in Cornwall and then Southern Africa) and blubbed a couple of times when certain characters died. :( .

I actually didn't cry, I came close, but I didn't cry...

Hmm lets see, books that made me cry: Alpha Dog, Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix/Goblet of Fire, Riding Lessons, Where the Red Fern Grows, some others that I can't remember.

Well I have to admit, that the only time I remember feeling teary and a bit upset was the other day, when I re-read Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire. It wasn't a character's actual death, but what was said after a character had died, and what was said of them. I just sort of felt... awww... that's so sad. I never felt like that the first time I had read it though, so that's probably why it surprised me.

I remember when I read the fifth Harry Potter book for the first time. I cried so much my old copy of that book is all wrinkled towards the end.

I cried in the end of Mockingjay, when Prim died and Katniss went mad.

I also cried while reading the fifth, sixth and seventh Harry Potter book. I don't remember exactly which parts, but the last 50-100 pages are all a bit wrinkled :erm: Oh and I cried while reading "Me Before You" by Jojo Moyes.
