I first came across this book at a book fair in my school completely by accident and read it when my friend bought it since it looked interesting. Writing Magic was a very good book in my opinion. It gives tips and pointers on writing a good story and Gail talks about some of her inspirations and that even she has major mess-ups sometimes. I thought this was very helpful (especially the publishing chaper) in assisting me in writing my stories.

This is the cover of the book:

If you're interested in writing you should check it out sometime. :-D

I shall have to look into this! Gail Carson Levine wrote my favourite story when I was younger- "The Two Princesses of Barmarre" and she's simply brilliant :)

Gail has also written 'Ella Enchanted' FYI..I've never read any of her books before this one, so I can't tell you how they are.

I have read the first 80 pages online and still waiting for the bookstore to get it. It's good book for all writers :)
