Oh yes, and I've forgotten to say that I go absolutely crazy over anything by Frank Peretti and/or Ted Dekker. :yes:

I go totally crazy over some books... G.A. Henty, for sure, and the Viking Quest series - some days I'll get random longings for reading snomething and I'll find myself reading those. Or Douglas Bond.

Ooh, The City of Ember, I liked that one and its sequel. There's a third one out too, did you know? something about a prophet.


I just requested The People of Sparks from the library, and after that I plan to get the third one, and then the fourth one, whenever it comes out :D

I get addicted to books. I've used books to bribe myself to get out of bed in the morning ("if you do, you'll be able to read x!"), and I've gone to multiple libraries trying to find a particular book and I've read under the desk / during study periods. Sometimes it's being addicted as in finding the book hard to put down, or wanting to read it again (and again), or just finding that I'm constantly thinking about it, the characters and the situation.
Sometimes it's an ongoing thing - such as it's a book I'll love forever, and sometimes I just find myself addicted to a book until I've finished it / the series / made my friends read them.

I'll use the word obsession to describe it, sometimes, because I think I am obsessive about things. :P
