I need to know how good he is, if there is inappropriateness in the books, and any info anyone has on the books and him. Please get back to me.

I have. I've read four or so of his books--the Hunter's Blades trilogy in The Forgotten Realms series, and Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones. He wrote the novelization for that.

As for inappropriateness, some things are implied and stuff, but there's nothing explicit, from what I remember.

All I can say is READ HIS BOOKS NOW THEY'RE BLOODY AMAZING :D

I would rate his books PG-13. Amazing battle scenes with some gore, some implied sexual content but nothing beyond what you see in movies. Begin with Forgotten Realms: Dark Elf Trilogy. The first book is Homeland.

All I've read of him is the Star Wars Attack of the Clones book. It was great but something about his writing style irks me...

His fantasy works look interesting however though I've never read them.
