Um.. I don't write that often, but I just want to say that there is a "Fanfiction and Poetry" section right under the "Fan Art" section where you can post your works, and there is a writer's club in the club section. |

I'm working on a story which has a plot that is not actually mine, it's "borrowed" from a friend's plot stash. But anyway, it's about a girl and a guy who are best friends and keep having dreams that they are in another world that is in trouble. Finally they find a way to get into it when they're awake, and they try and help. Yeah, um, it's probably better than it sounds.

If anyone is interested to read the beggining of mine go to the Fanfiction & Poetry thread(The Hall of Fire). It's about a fairy that has been left the last of her kind in this world and how she finds her true love-I haven't reach that point yet! Please tell me if you liked it or not in order to improve it... It's not the beggining of a book but of a story... I'll have to change it if I want it to be a book... |

miluiel, I think that this is a wonderful idea for a thread. However it might belong in the fanfiction/poetry section as smeagollum said. Anyway I am currently writting two fanfictions. One is a fanfiction about Harry Potter's Draco and Hermione (as a couple). It starts out at the ending battle of the war against Voldemort. Draco is hit by some unknown spell intended for Hermione (but he is hit by the spell when trying to protect her) that was cast by Bellatrix. The spell leaves a mark that looks alot like he had been shot rather than hit by a spell and once it seems to heal it leaves a star shaped scar on his upper stomach. He soon comes to learn that a side effect of the spell is becoming (gulp) a muggle...maybe not permanetly though.  So it is all about Hermione trying to help Draco and also trying to deal with her own grief of losing Ron and Draco trying to help hermione through this tough time in her life, dealing with losing all of his family (except for Tonks' branch), and dealing with being a muggle.  I know that is a long summary but I intend for it to be a lone story.
The other one is a Pirates of the Caribbean fanfiction. It starts out with William doing his final day upon the Flying Dutchman and the story follows the story of what happens to Willabeth after Will returns. I will keep this one's summary short and sweet. lol

My friend and I are writing a book series. I'm not going into any detail whatsoever because, let's face it.. the plot stealers. All I can say is that it takes place in a fictional land and has many twists and turns.
