Can you say a little about what the books are about? I love an interesting plot, ESPECIALLY with fiction lol. And I'm trying to find something new to read besides. I'd love to hear about them! |

Well, the website for the books is here at Bindingoftheblade.com and there is a fan forum at that site. My s/n at that forum is Shimmer by the way. Okay Binding of the Blade (BOTB for short) is a fantasy series written by a Christian writer. Some of the stuff in the BOTB books is a lot like LOTR like the names of cities and stuff. But I think they are really wonderful books. Two of the books are out so far. It's a five book series. These books have a wonderful storyline. The battles really make you sit on the edge of your seat. When one character got wounded you could almost feel his pain. And there is romance in these books as well. When I read the first and second books I was crying, laughing, angry, and happy. L. B. Graham is a wonderful writer. The only stuff that kinda bothered me was that he used some modern phrases, and the LOTR names. But all in all I think these are wonderful books and I think you should read them ![]() |

Wow somebody else here like BotB! I'm so excited!! I've only read the first one so far though. The story that I've read is basically about these people in a place called Kirthanin. Long ago one of the rulers of the world rebelled against the creator, and though he was defeated, he will one day come back. Now the nobles of the world are working together to prepare for his final attack, while facing many trials of their own. There are prophets, battles, romances, and much more. Any fantasy fans or LotR fans will like it. Like I said, I've only read the first book, so I'd ask RohanGal for more info on the 2nd one. |

I've read the first one. The library hasn't gotten the second one yet, so I haven't read it. I've liked the series so far. |

I've read all three! I love these books! And yes, he does copy off Tolkien a lot, but I still love the stories. |
