Post subject:  Harry Potter...
Ok now this is getting out of hand. I personaly dislike these books, but that doesn't matter. The point i'm trying to show is that when the book was released people where in Edingbourgh, in there 100s to buy the new book at middnight! there was a little kid who bought it that night and read it so he could go on tv the next morning and talk about it :blink: I mean, doesn't this seem odd?
Yes i like LOTR but i am not so obbsesed that when the films came out i wanted to be the first to see it, or see it 10 times etc.

I can see what you mean. i like Harry Potter but i'm not so obsessed that i would read it all in one night. i got the book the morning it was released but i was too busy over the weekend to read it. i'm only on chapter 3! i am finding the book really interesting though.

I don`t like Harry potter but I still read em something to read but hey I also like laughing at my mum when I steal it to read she gets stressed and starts reading a dog book LOL it`s going to far it`s obsessive I see the film misery becoming real soon ouch *remembers breaking legs scene* ouch *shudders* yeah cause she wants to end it all how else kill him I particulary hope he does die it`ll be the end but if he isn`t he`ll be cept on and people`ll want more potter books *yawn* yes it`ll go to far then...

ARGH the new book is out. Yeah, I'm a Potter-fan!
BUt... Should I read it in English or wait a 100 years for the translated Danish version? Grrr....

I've read them all several times in Danish and I think that the language besomes easier to read from book to book. Actually I was a little annoyed when I read book 5 because the language was so simple... I don't know, maybe I'm just gettin older...
