These books are a trilogy by Calvin Miller.

They're a Christian analogy in verse... really beautiful series, the first one always makes me cry, even just a little.

If you haven't read them, whether you're a Christian or not, they're still wonderful books...
Anyone else read 'em?

The first is an allegory of the gospels, the second of Acts, and the third of Revelation.

Yeah. I like all three of them a lot--I possibly like The Singer the best, but I'm not sure...they're all really good.

I cry most (usually sobbing) in the Singer, but I don't normally judge a book by how much I cry... only sometimes.

I have about 5 pages of quotes from them, too.

I really enjoyed all three. I read them several years ago, and have been planning on reading them again, but haven't found the time recently.

I think I'll read some tonight, though. I really liked The Finale, but The Singer is still my favourite of them.
