Does anyone read the Dragonlance Chronicles? Who's your favorite character, book, etc.

I've only read Dragons of Autumn Twilight, and it made an overall favorable impression. I took a very violent dislike to Raistlin (don't kill me, LDM!), but I don't think I really have a favorite yet. Tasslehoff is good comic relief, I liked him.

Yes, I've read them, and I love them! I've read a lot of the Dragonlance books - I think almost all of them that include Tanis, Tas, Flint, Caramon, Raistlin, and the gang

LOL At first I hated Raistlin as well, but I think if you read the Soulforge and Brothers in Arms (which are just about Caramon and Raistlin) or Test of the Twins and that series (which are about Raistlin becoming an extremely powerful mage), you'd think differently of him Or least hate him less Personally, I think he's my favorite character now LOL

*kills you* you SHALL bow down to the ultimate master
I've read all the core books, as well as a few other side novels. The Companions of the Lance are The Cool when they're together, but I'd say Legends is the best simply for the reason listed in above paragraph.

^I swear they are the best, especially if you're developing an obsessive fascination with Raistlin.

I thought Raistlin a bit strange in Autumn Twilight, but by the end of Winter Night I was hooked.

Did I mention that I got to meet Maragaret Weis this summer? She autographed 3 of my Dragonlance books! It was pretty awesome
Right now I'm reading Dragons of a Fallen Sun. It's kind of sad

^*falls over dead* I was planning to meet Margaret Weis last September at Dragon*Con, but she didn't show for her panel.
I don't like any of the War of Souls overtly much, especially with the lack of the Companions and the general change Krynn is undergoing. *pommels Mina* You'd think that one trilogy where Mina screws up Ansalon is enough, but apparently not, Ms. Weis has to go off and write yet ANOTHER trilogy revolving around that $%*(#(

Um...I haven't read any of them yet. I've thought about it several times, but I hate jumping into a series in the middle, and I honestly have no clue which book I should read first. Would somebody be so kind as to list the first few I should read, and the order in which I should do so? Pleeeze? <=Note: Spelling of "Please" was intentionally incorrect.

LOL @ LDM So far I'm enjoying Dragons of a Fallen Sun, but it isn't as good as the War of the Lance books
Aerandir - If you want to start at the beginning as far as in order of time, then start with Soulforge - it's about Raistlin and Caramon as teenagers. After that, you'll move onto Brothers in Arms, the sequel.
Otherwise, you could start with Dragons of Autumn Twilight, which starts the Dragonlance Chronicles series, which is really the main series of Dragonlance
Sorry if that was a bit confusing!
