Anyone read these? Christian Fantasy series. I have all of the books, just ordered them recently. Started the first one today. There are 3 of them. The door Within, The Rise Of The Wyrm Lord, and The Final Storm. It is really good, I love it so far, and can't wait to have them all read. Really well written. And it's much more than the strange nightmares he's been having. Just when life seemed to be coming together for Aidan, his parents suddenly move the family across the country to take care of his wheelchair-bound grandfather. When strange events begin to occur, Aidan is drawn into his grandfather's basement where he discovers three ancient scrolls and an invitation to another world. I read them. They're okay... I'm really picky about my fantasy, which probably explains part of it. I didn't like his girls fighting so much (though in a way it was a good allegory because in the battle of life we all fight!), and I think he could have done a better job, but they were good. I like his non-fantasy better. |

I LOVED this series!Its one of my favorite fantasy books..The ending sort of suprised me,although I guess it was expected... 
The part about the Glimpses I thought was very creative,and neat. 
BTW,Balathor,have you ever read "Dragons In Our Midst"?You seem to like most of the books I do,and thats another of my favorites.

I always thought Isle Of Swords was Fantasy/Fiction too, I've read about it. TB, I've heard and read about Dragon's In Our Midst, but haven't read them yet. I probably will one of these days, they sound cool. And the Glimpses are interesting.

I guess people's definition of fantasy is different... for me, fantasy has fantastical creatures in it, which this didn't, so yeah. |

Finished Rise Of The Wyrm Lord, was even more amazing then the first book. Reading The Final Storm now. I love this series. |

I absolutely adore these books. I just recently finished the trilogy, and am already going into the obsessive stage.  I've actually drawn a few pictures (Click here: http://elfpen.deviantart.com/ for my DeviantArt account to see!) So far there's one of a Banner of Alleble (of my own design), one of Fury, and one of Nock's blackwood bow. I am completely incapable of drawing people, so none of Gwenne, Aidan, Robby, or anyone else, sadly. I'm working on a drawing of Mallik's hammer.
