These books are really good! If you like dragons, these books give a new meaning to those creatures. Anne recreated dragons into a totally different kind of creature. So far I've read Harperhall of Pern, Dragonflight, and Dragonquest, and am in the middle of the White Dragon. And my mom gave me the goal of finnishing the White Dragon, and also read Moreta of Pern, and another Pern book(the name slips my mind at the moment). But I just have to say, this series is awesome so far! So what do you all think? (oh, and since my latest obsiession with Pern, a friend gave me the books Atlas of Pern, People of Pern, and the Dragonlover's Guide to Pern. *is happy*) |

Oh My Goodness! Another Pern lover! I am in the middle of The Renegades of Pern- a very good one, although I am finding it disturbing that I strongly relate to the villain- the Lady Thella Holdless... *shudder* what does that say about my character? I thought Moreta was depressing. A good story, except that, in hearing about her in previous books, I knew what was coming. I love the first chronological books (name escape me, though), but I wish she'd left out the language... And yet, I still read them! And love any dragon stuff because of her! *clicks baby dragons and hopes favor is returned!* |

*goes to help your eggs hatch* I have three eggs at the moment as well: http://dragcave.ath.cx/user/52217 And checking my library, that book I couldn't think of earlier is the Wyers of Pern. Hm... I start to wonder exactly how many Pern books there are, lol! |
