@Lady Tindomerel: Wow, yes! I actually turned the speaker down when she was talking. It was a little too "Like omg, I'm like SO pretty and like popular, and like everybody LOVES me!"

I Love the Nancy Drew computer games.. I finished White Wolf of Icicle Creek a week after it came out. I haven't finished are Blackmoor Manor, Stay Tuned for Danger, Secrets can Kill, Scarlet Hand, Danger on Deception Island and Secret of the Scarlet Hand.

Legend of the Crystal Skull looks like it's going to be fun! :D

Anybody love these classic mystery books? My sister and I loved these books, but some of the newer ones aren't as good as the older, hardback cover books. I have several favorites...and I need to check up on them soon

The Hardy Boys, I've barely read, but I've read the books where Nancy, Bess, George, Frank, Joe, and sometimes Ned are teamed up. I kinda prefer these books, because it's two of the greatest dectective teams combined into one.

Then the TV show...I've got a season at home, and I watched it. It was ok, but not as good as the books, of course.

What about you all?

I love both series of books, the PC games, the 30s movies, the TV series (both Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew),and I'm waiting to see the newer movie.:) :bounce:

The Hardy boys are awesome!
Nancy Drew is alright , but I've always enjoyed Ned.

Somebody should start a Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys club!

I devoured the Nancy Drew books when I was younger. I absolutely loved them. I never read the Hardy Boys books though.

Apart from Nancy Drew, I also loved Enid Blyton's various mystery series and PJ Bonzon's Les Six Compagnons mystery series.

I never liked Nancy Drew. I always thought she was too perfect. Like, she knows how to do everything and she's perfect at everything. "Oh, it's definitely okay that there's a secret compartment in the piano, I can play it! I can also sing, act, puppeteer and play golf like the most amaaazing girl in the world!"

Well I was never a fan of the character of Nancy Drew. I always preferred George. But I didn't read the books for Nancy, I read them because I loved mystery books.

I like mystery books too, but I always thought they were a bit on the sillier side. That's why I preferred my brother's Hardy Boys books. I still collect them and probably have around 30 of them at this point.
