Don't think he's dead either...I mean, he definitely wasn't killed by Bellatrix's spell, since Avada Kedavra is green, not red. But unfortunately I guess it's possible that falling through the veil could mean he died

unfortuantely i think Sirius did die which really would stink since he was my favorite character besides like the people in flashback things in book #5...but like J.k Rowling said in some interview thingy that her husband say her like crying one day and asked her why and she was like, "I just killed off one of the characters in the book." or something...so I think he really did die... :'(

I'm actully a newbie HP fan... I've only read the first 4 books so far, and am waiting in muchly frustration for the library to get #5 back in before #6 comes out... :confused2:

My sister and I were thinking about who could be the HBP...we came up with weird people like Hagrid (half giant/half human)...yeah, anyways... After I finish reading my current book, I think I'll start rereading the series. I'm just happy that the sixth book is coming out. I hope we don't have to wait too long for the seventh. Ha, I am weird. I am already talking about the last book. I'm excited to find out how Harry did on his OWLS...you know? I liked Sirius in the third and fourth book...but in the fifth one I didn't like him that much. So when he "died," I wasn't that sad.

My friend leant me her copy of the 5th and says "oh, and by the way Sirius dies..." I was ready to kill her! I read it in maths... with everyone nagging me about who dies the whole way through. It was very irritating. I don't like it when characters die, but I've realised that as a writer it's different when you kill someone to how it is for a reader, so I think I understand a bit more where the author is coming from.

I am hoping Sirius is alive as well... I had grown on him before the end of the book and was really disappointed when he "died". I do have this feeling that Sirius is not alive though... I think it was something that Luna said. wonders what it was Anything can happen with Rowling though.

Did you all hear about the 2 people who stole 2 books and tried to sell them to 2 newspapers? When the reported went to buy the book and return it to the publishers, has was shown a gun or something. Anyway, they're being tried in court on Monday!

i LOVE the BOOKS!!! and the mOVIES! although im hesitant to see them at first anyway i cant wait till the 6th one comes out ive already pre-ordered it!! lOVE IT!!! ill probably read it on the plane back from the States to Hong Kong!! :D ill have it done in like the whole time i read the 5th one in 2 days it was cooL!:P

Alright well me and my bro and his friend are all huge HP fans and we were talking about who the Half-Blood Prince could be and after a really long discussion we think it is....drumroll...ABERFORTH! Yes, Aberforth, Albus Dumbledore's brother! B/c we heard somewhere that it would be a character we haven't met yet and it just seemed the best out of all the ones we came upwith. I suppose it could be someone we have never heard of at all though...But Istill think it is Aberforth! Blake found a description excerpt thingy on the net and it sounded like he could be related to Dumbledore easily but I duno how reliable it was. Or he clould just be making it up....Well tell me what you think of this idea!

I am a major HP fan, and have booked July 16th for Harry Potter. I read Order of the Phoenix in one day, and was hoping to do the same for Half-Blood prince. I have had the book on reserve for months, but then yesterday I learned that we will be on vacation in Iowa(I'm in Ohio.) My reserve can't be used for the first day in my local Borders. Now I'm hoping to get my uncle to reserve one for me near his house!
