Post subject:  Tad Williams
As anyone have read his books? I mean "Shadowmarch" series, "War of the Flowers", "Tailchaser's Song", "Memory, Sorrow and Thorn" series, "Otherland" series?

He is the best fantasy author for me, even before Tolkien. He is master in creating characters, especially villains. I love his books to death.

Anyone? ;-)

I have Memory, Sorrow and Thorn books one and two but I haven't touched them yet. He's one of those authors I just never quite get around to... :P

Aww. And I can say that this series is first and worst series by Tad :p If you get to read it and you won't like it, take "Shadowmarch", its the best fantasy novel I have ever read.

I have to say I haven't read anything by this author. If I was going to get one book, which one would you recommend I start with?

If I go with my favorites I would reccomend "Shadowmarch" but if you are more for single book for start, take "War of the Flowers" - very original and surprising book :yes:

Good for time killing is tale about the cats, "Tailchaser's Song".
