Just wondering if anyone has read any of the Shannara books by Terry Brooks. I think he's a really good author and I've read about 14 of his books so far, and definitely plan on reading the rest of em. In the last trilogy I read by him, he mentioned Gandalf, Frodo, and the One Ring...I just about had a nergasm lol.

It's been a long time since I read his books, but I really enjoyed them. That was back when I was only about ... 11 or 12, wow. I think I only read the Sword of Shannara and then two or three after it. Might try and pick up a few others sometime, good memories.

He has A LOT more out now, and he's still writing. His last book came out like 2 weeks ago and its part of a trilogy or series, so there's at least 1 more. If you plan on reading some more of his books, I suggest checking out this website http://www.terrybrooks.net/novels/reading-orders/ so you know what order is ideal to read them in. Some books may contain spoilers for others, because they're all connected in some way.
