I'm afraid I'll have to pass this round. None of the books in the poll are available in my library, and I can't afford to buy them. I'll stay around and see what you choose for next month :)

Should we read the whole Chronicles of Avantia or just the first book?

Same :(

EDIT:

Just a point for future months, maybe sticking to the classics might be an idea? You can get free ebook copies (which you don't need an e-reader to read, they can be read on a computer although it's not the nicest way of reading) and most libraries should have several copies of them so the issues with people not being able to afford the books shouldn't be as big a problem?

By classics I mean books on which the copyright has expired. It varies from country to country but usually books published 100-150 years ago and older tend to be in the public domain in most countries.

Yeah sorry guys, I think imma pass this round too...I got this strong thing against re-reading books that I don't particularly like, unless I've completely forgotten the plot ...and yeah I agree with Hraven although I don't mind about new books as well.

Sounds good Hravan, I was thinking about something like that myself. My library doesn't have a large English department, but I think I can find more classic books for my e-reader so it should be fine!
