Post subject:  Is this thread abandoned?

I don't know if this is abandoned, but I just wanted to say Les Mis is awsome. I read the book and listened to many versions of the opera, but haen't seen the opera.

"What do you dowith all them books, i could've been a student too.
Don't judge a girl by how she looks. I know alot of things, I do..."
Totally agree with RinielArenal, Eponine is a way better charachter than cossete ( and plus she's way more hot- what was marius thinking?)

I usually like chareacters reverse of what was intended. Javert is awsome.

And I'm proud to say I have near all of it memorized.

^ Wait, the book or the musical memorized?

My sister and I used to have the musical memorized from listening to it so much. We'd fight over who got to sing which parts... she was usually Eponine, and I was usually Cosette and the guys (funny about the Cosette, I'm totally an alto and nowhere NEAR a soprano).

Now I'm more interested in playing the music... anyone else noticed the gorgeous oboe solo after the battle? *nerdy oboist grin*

The musical....I don't think I could memorize the book in a lifetime

I always argue like that with my brother. we have the opera memorized from listening, and looking up a few lyrics we couldn't discern. The biggest fight is for javert. we're always figuring out casts.

I can't quite descern boes, but I do love the music itself. I love Javert's intervention....
