I've wanted to read these books, but I only have them in German, and it's hard going for me. They look funny. |

Yeah, I read Mort in german, too, but I prefer the english version...(even though I'm german) Translations are always a bit different... |

My favourite character is Death. He's really funny without even meaning to be. My favourite book is The Hogfather, it has me in stitches. |

i absolutely love wyrd sisters - i was in stitches all the way through. pratchett is a man who knows how to write spoof without being insulting, and that's a skill. |

I adore the Tiffany Aching series, but the Amazing Maurice is easily the best. Pratchett is a true genius! |

Terry Pratchett is God! And Death is awesome! I've read the first foour or five of his books but my favorite still seems to be The Colour of Magic - and The Light Fantastic since they are sort of connected. He is a true genius. His humour is so real and sharp that it almost appears subtle. I loved how the Gods starred in The Colour of Magic - has anyone read any other books featuring the Gods of the Disc? |

I love Mort! And Maskerade always makes me laugh with the whole PotO spoofing. I haven't read either of those, Ea, but I did read Small Gods...I don't know if that really counts as the Gods of the Disc, since it's some random crazy tiny one and, like, only one. |

I've read Mort too... so much of Death in it!!! I haven't read any of the books that are parodies or satires on other books... but I'll get to them.. usually it depends on what my library has available... |
