Yeah, I was about to post this! I was recently despairing over the lack fo news, but now it's got me all excited!
My first thought was the veil, as well.

Ooo, how fabulous, I love the books. How exciting, fwee, I can't wait!
~*Hermione*~ wrote: Yeah! I can't wait now. They were one of the first book series' that I fell in love with. I really hope Sirius comes back, he's one of my favourite characters.
And mine, he was very deep and mysterious but also caring. I cried so much when he fell through the curtain. xD.

Even though I have come to dislike the Harry Potter seriwes more and more recently, I am still eaerly awaiting the final book. I think the 'Deathly Hollows' might be where Voldemort and Harry have their final battle, or it could be where the final horcrux is located. Of course, just like the Half Blood Prince, it is very ambiguous.

Indeed, I still believe the Deathly Hallows is where the viel leads to and we will find Sirius....

I've been contemplating it.... The place where the veil leads or where they have their final battle sounds good but it'll probably be something more random than that. And I may be in denial, but I firmly believe Sirius will come back in spirit at least.

I expect Deathly Hallows may be Godric's Hollow, where the Potters were in hiding from Voldemort (where the series began that fateful night on July 31st) and also where Voldy-Moldy and Harry may also be duking it out.

Nearly keeled over in a dead faint when I found out JKR had revealed the title. Though truthfully, I was expecting she'd reveal it by this time anyway.
I like your theory Kit because it's got some good solid proof behind it. Of course I'm all for finding out more about Sirius and the viel, but for now I think Godric's Hollow is going to be even more important in this book.
I'd like to point out that with the release of this title we could be expecting a book release as early as fall of 2007 [maybe end of July too] if JKR finishes the book by spring. She's given us a very important hint as to how far along she is with the book by saying that she is currently writing the parts that she knew would happen a decade ago. This means she's probably toward the end of the book. Squee!

How exciting! I can't wait! I've been reading these since I was really little. I hope she gets it around spring. I forgot how long it takes to edit a HP book.

!!!!!!!! I just found out 10 minutes ago! I was not expecting it...I hadn't checked Mugglenet or Leaky in a while, and I was just innocently browsing and all of a sudden there's a Seventh title!
It's kind of sad because this is the last HP title. Ever.
