Does anyone here read Agatha Christie novels? I LOVE her Poirot books (I also love the TV series) and I have read a few Miss Marple's but Poirot is my favourite. They are really well written books and very enjoyable. :)

I've read her Miss Marple books, but that was a few years ago. She's a really interesting writer. :) It's interesting to see the different characters and plots she's able to come up with.

Oh I LOVE Agatha Christie! :notworthy:
I love Piorot, especially the TV series. Murder On The Orient Express rocks too. But my absolute favourite of all time is "And Then There Were None." :notworthy: Yay for Agatha Christie fanatics!

I don't exactly love her books, simply because there's no way to solve the mystery ahead of time, and I've never seen the show, but there are a few of her books that I like. In my opinion, her best book that I've read was They Came to Baghdad. That one was seriously awesome. Anyone here read it?

Yay! Me too! I am going to read all of her Poirot books over the next dew months, I have read a few of them before but I own all the TV series, all the last few series have not been as good ever since they began to *change* things. David Suchet is perfect as Poirot. Murder on the Orient Express is a great film so I look forward to seeing the TV version of it, the book is brilliant as well, such a clever story! Apparently *cough* Agatha Chrisitie hypnotises her readers, and her stories are like cocaine so we keep coming back for more....she can compel people from the grave...now that to me is a bit of a stupid theory... :annoyed2:

The fact that you can't solve her mysteries is why most people like them because we are completely in the dark until the end. I haven't actually read They Came to Baghdad yet. :)

I really like Agatha Christie. I haven't seen any of the Poirot TV series, even though it's showing here at the moment (my other family members seem to commandeer the TV when it's on, or I forget...)

I really, really like Poirot books, even though he annoys me. (I like detectives who are people (which is why I prefer Ngaio Marsh's books. Sayers's are good too.).) I'm not such a fan of Miss Marple, but there are a few I really like. I love Tommy and Tuppence!

My friend bought ALL of Agatha Christie's books in hardbook collectors edition second hand for TEN DOLLARS! I am so envious!

I like Agatha Christie, but I haven't read a lot of her. I did play Miss Casewell in The Mousetrap which is a play based on one of her books. That was way fun!

I LOVE Agatha Christie. :D Any Agatha Christie. I think my favorite Miss Marple is Nemesis, and I'm not sure what my favorite Poirot is. I also like Tommy and Tuppence.

I actually haven't read any Tommy and Tuppence. I have read Miss Marple Sleeping Murder which I enjoyed. Has anyone seen the new ITV series of Miss Marple?

I haven't actually read any of her books (despite the fact we have almost all of them at my house lol) but I've seen a few of the films made upon her books. I especially love Poirot, the ABC murders was great!!! I think I'll start reading her books now hehe

At the beginning of the school year we read Murder on the Orient Express, and it's the only Christie book I've read but I really liked it!

Yeah, my sophmore year we had a list of books that we had to read for some stupid paper or something. And everyone either chose Animal Farm or Lord Of The Flies. And there were 2 books by Agatha on the list, Murder on the Orient Express and "And Then There Were None." I had remembered my mom telling me that Agatha had originally wrote Piorot (which, I'm obsessed with the show...:P  ) and I love murder mysteries, so I chose "And Then There Were None." The only one in the class with a conscioness mind that thinks for herself. :P Ha ha ha. So, basically fell in love with her writing. That's one of my all time favourite books! It was SO interesting, kept me going until the end. Classic and timeless murder mystery. Yay!

Oh, I absolutely love all of her books! I love how she writes, I love Poirot, Miss Marple and everything!
And I never find out who the murderer is until the detective does ;-) which shows that they are very good mystery novels, because I'm quite good at that :-D
